Hi all,

Decided to post my problem in a bitesized nuggets rather than bombard you with several (see my last post!)

Basically my jukebox refuses to play music at all (which sucks a bit for a jukebox!) What happens is when i enter my jukebox nothing happens at all even though i have the jukebox config set to automatically play music upon entering the menu, when i try to choose a song nothing happens again even though i have the settings as "clicking instantly plays track" I thought that maybe WMP 11 had something to do with it so i rolled back to WMP10 but with no joy. The only way i got music to play was when i was in visualisation mode.

Any ideas?

Thanks in Advance

Yea a couple. Are you having gameex query your media player library.. There is an option to read file tags and point to a folder with your music.. Id try that.

Id also try changing your theme.

Can you post your gameex.ini

Are you using the 'Use WMP Library' option in the Setup Wizard ? Can you see your albums and listen to them using WMP ?

Tried both suggestions (change theme, read tags) but neither have worked my WMP plays music with no problems as well really stumped! Heres a copy of my jukebox config.

EnableJukeBox=True

JukeBoxPlaylist=

EnableMediaControls=True

ShufflePlayLists=True

LoadPlayListAtStartup=False

LoadPlayListThread=False

DownloadArt=True

My Gameex Config here: GameEx.txt

Can you notice anything wrong?

Did you ever get this to work? I feel bad because we asked you to break up your posts, and you still didn't get help. I'm hoping somebody else will jump in here for you. Can someone show scranusesscrunya some love? :(

I just loaded your config up and found the problem. its because the music volume is not set.

Whoops! :lol: LMAO!

Actually it was not quite the obvious, if the volume is not set GameEx wont even play the audio files, not just play them at a low volume.

Your right I never knew that option existed! :lol:

Wonder how that happened then? It just randomly stopped playing music one day. Anyway thanks a lot for the help that one was really starting to bug me!

P.S Thanks for the love
