i play killer instinct arcade version 64 on my pc through game ex im using the ipac4 with it and everytime i set the controls they work fine but when i restart my pc the controls settings are lost and i have to reset my control buttons again anyhow to save it so if i restart my pc i wont have to reassign the buttons thanks tony

Are you using the u64 emu? or MAME? You can try making the CFG file readonly... Or install deep freeze which is what I use.
