Well what happens when youadd a Romfilter... Like *.zip

So FB evolution doesn't require the standard "[rompath]/[romfile]" ?

It must be one of those emulators that requires the roms to be in the ./Roms folder....

I Googled "Exception occurred in module ntdll.dll", and found this:

I found the problem!

In case someone has the same problem, the cause was a duplicated name

(different directory, same filename.exe).

It didn't have anything to do with Gameex, or FBE, but I thought it might help. I figured it was possible that you would have FBE in more than one directory while testing. I hope this helps!

yes I can

I'd like to know how you did that cuz Final Burn Evolution doesn't support command line options. Hence why it's not working in GameEx. Use Final Burn Alpha instead.

I said yes I can for not in command line... for launching from the FBE GUI I was able to.

Use Final Burn Alpha instead.

Are there any diffence in supported games?

Launching in command line is the way GameEx works. Only other way to get Final Burn Evolution to work is to create a wrapper. As far as differences, Yes there are some. Final Burn Alpha supports more games. As far as exact differences I haven't compared the 2 exactly to see in detail but when I scanned my Final Burn Alpha roms in Final Burn Evolution, there were only a few that were not working only cuz they weren't built for it.

K. Just did a scan and there are some games that Evolution supports that Alpha does not. But again, only way to get to work would be to create a wrapper so it will run in GameEx.

is there a easy way to find out the game #'s?

What do you mean by game #'s? As in how they appear in the list?

what the emu does is load by number not by rom name.. so if i find out the numbers i can make bach files ot get game to load..

Hmmmmm I thought Zinc was the only one that did that. How did you come to that conclusion?

The way I know would be to script a wrapper to select the correct game from the list based off command line parameters.
