Start Up Video Gone with latest update.

I updated to the latest verson of Game Ex and now my start up video starts but doesn't finish. What I mean by this is that when I start Game Ex I hear the intro video for a second or less but don't see it. Then Game Ex loads. I like the intro video very much, so any help would be great. Thanks!

Have you tried a shorter intro video to see if it runs to completion? Maybe it's a problem with a long video?

Question for Tom: Is it possible that launching GameEx in it's own thread (separate from the intro video thread) could cause GameEx to launch when it's ready and not when the video is done?

I think you may be right Ben. My startup video (MAME Lightning AVI) does no longer work and GameEX takes longer to load than when i was using version 9.12. Also some of my avi videos are screwed up when being previewed at least. There are black borders on the left & right of the video. One or two videos stutter or won't play (looks like a still picture).

I only hear about 1 second of the video before it kicks off. The video I'm using is the MAMElogo one that is 14 seconds long and shown on GameEx front page. What you're saying sounds right Ben.

Yeah, it sounds like a bug crept in there somehow, its not working for me either.

Ill get it fixed.
