Video Previews mess up gameex - how 2 disable?

For some reason when video previews begin to play when I'm browsing the available multimedia->videos the video doesn't show up, but the audio starts and continues forever. If I play a different video both audio streams are playing but the chosen video is visible. To just get around this can I just disable video preview mode? I didn't see anything in the advanced setting for this..

If I can get this fixed (As in video preview working) I'll register a full featured copy. What information can I provide?

It's running

Windows XP SP2

Athlon 3200+ 2.01ghz 512mb RAM

Nvidia 6600 128mb, latest drivers from nvidia site

Ok I tried that, well I just disabled the xvid part but it didn't work. Once I disabled FFDSHOW-TRYOUTS completely it worked fine. Can I just disable preview completely? I dont like it. I mean if I've never seen something then I get a preview but I don't like previews, It's possible it could show something I don't want to see. And when I am watching something and I hit the BACKSPACE key to go maybe see something else real fast, the preview of the same video starts up which is annoying. And I really like FFDSHOW I don't have to worry about codecs really ever.. If I can disable preview, keep ffdshow, I'll purchase it as it will be so far, perfect

I found out how to disable it. It was in the tweaks section of advanced config (not the wizard)
