Hi,

When I try to run Killer Instinct through GAMEEX it doesnt load just returned to the GAMEEX screen?

When I run it through Mame32GUI it works sweet?

In the GAMEEX frontend I have the ARCADEVGA ticked (as that GFX card is in the PC) and it still dont work ticked or not ticked.

My question is can GAMEEX not run Killer Instinct?

Hmm Killer Instinct 1 and 2 work perfectly for me I'm not using Mame 32 though. Did you try a different Mame version?

This may be silly, but I have my Chd's in a different folder than my roms, and therefore in gameex I have to point it to both folders for mame roms.

If it's not a path problem, you will probably need to post your gameex.ini

Interesting......

So you have two setups for MAME ect?

How did you tell GAMEEX to look elsewhere for CHD's?

No, I only have one setup for mame currently, although I may set up a second (older) version sometime, because I hear they run the CHD's better. I have them set up in separate folders for file management reasons...

In configuration>basic mame settings>rompaths you can enter more than one path seperated by semi-colons. IE: path1;path2

Edit: when I said above that you may have to post your gameex.ini, I probably should have said your Gameex Log

Run the "run last game.bat" file in the GameEx start directory. If necessary, add 'PAUSE' to the end of the file so the error stays up long enough to read it. Post that error here if you can't discern the error on your own.
