Add Info To a game

hey I have everything working fine so this should be easy some of my games when you go in to them it has a screen saying play now add to fav any way below that there is a spot were it tells you things about the game some of my games got this automaticly some did not for the ones that did not how can i add it

The info is extracted from the history.dat file. You need to update it to your MAME rom version if you haven't already. If there's something you want to add, it will have to be added to that file. Alternately, you could update the data.mdb file. If you do that though, every time you update your MAME list, it will be deleted...

This also depends on what you are emulating, Gameex comes with premade Microsoft access database files that contain infomation on the games. This can be done yourself. these are located in DATA/EMULATORS and have a name similar to '[Console] Nintendo NES.mdb'. Edit these and add info you need, but do-not delete any tabs else info will not show. Then make sure it is selected in the advanced config for the emulator you are using, it is on a pull down called 'Database'..

User LB11 and Pimpdaddy stu and a few other worked really hard on these... I know there were more users working on this so please forgive me if I didnt mention your name... I have short term memory loss or something.

Just add your entrys and post it in the user submitted config and databases sticky.
