Game Category Empty?

For some reason the adult game category is empty. The games are showing under all mame games but nothing is showing up in the actual category. All the other categories have the proper games located in them and are not empty. Does anyone know how I can correct this issue?

Can you post your gameex.ini? So we can see if there is any errors.

The adult games are determined from the catver.ini file. It has some categories that are listed like "Table Game *MATURE*". If your catver.ini file doesn't have these, then it won't show up correctly under adult.

And once you have the correct catver.ini file, you will have to "update list"

Actually, you have to "update list" everytime you make a change in what/how you want your mame games displayed, so maybe you haven't done this?

I had the same problem. Update your list and you'll be fine.

You can either zip it first, and then upload the file, or

it might be best to cut and paste the text into the window you type in.
