These are things that don't make sense to me, maybe I just need further clarification, or if some of theses are valid, I'll move them to feature request's, or the thread where people can vote on them.

  1. Gameex comes with maps in the map file, but defaults to looking for them in the config file. A drop down list like the database one would be nice.
  2. When you browse for a map, it includes the .map extension, and ends up looking for System.map.map
  3. At the top of a page of an emulator where it shows "Last Played" it shows the rom name instead of the name that is displayed in the list.
  4. A forum question, Does anybody besides me find it annoying that I can cut/paste everywhere, except within the window I'm typing in?

I started this yesterday, and was waiting to see if anything else came up but nothing has....I must be in a better mood!

5. I also have a problem when you preview a post, then go back, it scews up stuff in code boxes (and quotes)

I knew I should have waited before posting earlier..... ;)

Its correct to post a new topic for this. Perhaps should have made the title "MAP File bugs" or something though. Rather than assed about so much ;)

Still working on that whole "British Humour" thing Tom....

I was just working on my cab, and started jotting down things that I had been noticing. I wasn't really sure where I was heading.

As always I want you to know that my intentions are honorable!

It's always good to hear from The Man!

Sorry, what I was trying to say is dont be shy or unsure, this is actually extremely useful to me. It lists 'ALL' bugs with MAP files in one hit. So dont underestimate yourself, this is extremely helpful.

Thanks.

Tom

english - "shy" = English - "assed about"

I deleted my post because I thought Tom made a spelling error "assed" instead of "asked". But then I realised he actually meant "assed about" as in "messed about" or "screwed around" which is probably a closer American equivalent. Actually reading it again, I don't know which one he meant now!
