Can I hide the mouse cursor that still appears on bootup after using InstantSheller?

I've just used InstantSheller and it worked perfectly except for the Windows XP mouse cursor that appears for a couple of seconds after Windows XP starts and before my front-end loads.

Is there any way to get rid of this mouse cursor or no?

Also, what's the easiest way to change the Windows XP boot logo after I've already run InstantSheller?

There was a thread in the last month that talked about this. I searched but couldn't find it right now. Basically, it comes down to adding an extra registry key. As I recall, this is something that you can easily change using TweakUI. The value you are looking for is the default mouse pointer. If you change that to the dot cursor, it will not show up during loading.

I used stardock bootskin, but I haven't used instant sheller yet, so I don't know if that anwers your question, or not....

A boot skin is just the set of screens that show up during boot though, right? I mean, that won't change the cursor too, will it?

If youve checked back to the forum, yourll see Im releasing a new version shortly which should do this.
