Here's my settings:

UseDaphne=True

DaphnePath=G:\Daphne

DaphneExe=daphne.exe

DaphneSnap=G:\Daphne\images

DaphneOptions=vldp -fullscreen -x 800 -y 600 -nohwaccel

Enabled_1 =True

ROMName_1 =mach3

GameName_1 =Mach 3

GameOptions_1 =-framefile G:\Daphne\vldp\mach3\mach3.txt

But as always, you have to get it running outside of GX first.

I don't have the right codec for watching the video on my work machine (I'll watch it tonight at home). My Daphne set is in 2 formats. One has a bunch of m2v files and the other is a single file. For example, MACH3 is a single file and I got it to work fine after playing with the DaphneLauncher. But, DL is the other way. I tried to get the framefile setup, but failed. Will the video help with both setups? If not, any other help (I haven't read those threads yet, so I may be speaking out my arse).

your frame file needs to specify what mv2 or vobs are in the movie and in the order to play them.

Dragons lairs first frame is 151

I downloaded dragons lair but it seems to be all in .vob and mpeg files. Is that right??

Well we don't condone piracy so Ill take it as your laserdisc has been ripped into that format. So yes thats fine.

you still need a frame file.. And the Rom

Lets check our verbage from now on.. ;)

Yes, I also ripped my own laserdisc...

Anyway, I figured it out. The framefile is the same for anyone that rips their laserdisc or downloads it from someone else in case they do not have the capability to rip their own for which they own. Basically, the framefile is just a list of files and an offset that DAPHNE uses to know how the files are interconnected. If you rip your laserdisc as a single .m2v file, you just have a single entry in the framefile (beyond the location of the files). If you rip it as a set of files, then you will need an entry for every m2v file and an appropriate offset. Since all filesets are from the same source, you can use a framefile from any source and it should work (assuming you get the appropriate one...single entry or multi entry).
