Deleting Mame games straight from GameEx

Greetings everyone

Is there any way to delete Mame games straight from the GameEx interface? I have a load of games and I would like to sift through all of them through the GameEx menu and delete them from there instead of having to go to the \Roms folder and delete them manually.

If you press the DEL key when you have a game selected it will add the rom to the EXCLUDED game list.. It will NOT remove the ROM.

Beside why would you want to jack up your mame anyways... You know mame call roms from other sets to play certian games... Like you cant play UMK3 without mk3... etc...

I agree with Brian, but if you are adamant about deleting them from your HDD permanently, there is a workaround.

1) Delete the games from GameEx as Brian stated

2) Exit GameEx and launch either Configuration Wizard or Advanced Configurator

3) Navigate to the MAME filters page

4) Copy the list of games from the filtered list (there will be a list of rom names without ".zip" separated by ;

5) Delete each of the games in the list you just found (you might want to create a script of some kind to do is if your list is long)

Again, I don't recommend this approach. If you are short on space, delete the CHD files for the rhythm games you know you don't play
