Ok, I got the emu and roms going in GameEX, but when I try to boot it, the screen takes me to my taskbar. this is how I got the set-up ...as follow: (can't seem to find RominFolder) and I configured to full size screen in Nestopia. By the way, my emu and rom are stored in an external drive. Thanks again for the help

Add quotes around your paths in the command line:

Command=nesemu2.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]"

Very true... Also if your config is to make the nes emu go in full screen...

This tag : SendKeys=%{ENTER}

will reverse it... ALT+ ENTER will toggle full screen mode in MOST windows apps but if your config in the emu already states that it will make things more complicated..

Try nestopia...

Its a better emu in my opnion...

I read your previous posts suggesting nestopia which i decided to use over rockx or rocknes (don't remember how to spell it). if i can follow how you set yours up maybe i can find where i went wrong. Other than that, i'm just a fat-young-old yuppie from the cold side highs of MN.

Sure here ya go...

Remember in the emu config... Tell it to launch fullscreen and set anyother options you like.

Brian,

I got it working! By looking at your config. I had to change the exe to nestopia. so instead of nesemu2.exe"[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" i changed it to nestopia .exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]"I also got the NDS working as well. You are the man.

Wow... hehehe

Ya.. the COMMAND is generally the program name followed by extention

EG.... Nes.exe or gens32.exe.... the whole "[rompath]/[romfile]" thing is the location to the rom being called... So the whole command looks like

gens32.exe "c:\emulation\roms\genesis\sonic.bin" Ususally if a rom can be dragged and dropped into an emulator executable it can be launched via this method.

Im glad you got it going.... So whats next?

I don't know. With my new-found smartness maybe I'll head to CES or some comp-geek show and show the top nerds whose brain is bigger than theirs ........not happening, stretching it a bit ...I know but a guy can dream. But I was wondering is there a site or something that I can grab like visuals for the emulators I have? Since there's one for NES, SNES, and N64 there's none for DC or NDS. You any good ones out there?
