AVISNAPS

Hi All,

I have read some of the comments on how to play AVISNAPS in Gameex and none of them work.

I have a P4 computer with no microsoft updates whatsoever

Do I have to download service packs etc

I have tried

- ffdshow

- K-Lite codecs

If someone could post an idiots guide I would be greatful

first off you have to have it enabled in gameex.. Then install the version of FFDDSHOW that located here on the main page.. Under wrappers and utils. Make sure you un-install any other codecs that may be conflicting. The sanp needs to be named the same as the rom.

Enable what, and where in the menu?

When I install FFDDSHOW (a box pops up always use the blar blar) I say yes and I can here the sound but the image freezes and Gameex no longer responds

Is this menu... Im sure its setup ok as your hearing the sounds followed by a crash. I'm really leaning on a codec issue.

Did you un-install any other codec packs prior to installing ffddshow.

Did you install this version?

Also if you have divx installed you may want to check into the tray icon fix

Remember that it depends on what codec your snaps use. If they use DIVX or XVID, you would need a different codec pack than FFDSHOW which is what GameEx requires by default...
