Setup much? The only problem with this is getting the person in a "catatonic" state. I don't believe it's possible with a few flashes of the screen.

I've seen a few other episodes of this before and while some of it is real (like drawing a circle around a note in a busy street stops people picking it up). Some other things like how he makes himself disappear in front of someone, are a total set up with actors IMHO.

I think the main problem with doing stunts live is if they go wrong (like the guy passed out and hit his head on the arcade machine) then they could be up for a heafty law suit. So they just hire actors. Anyway that's what I think ;)

The only thing I would say, and that most of you dont realise, the hypnotist is renowned and well known in the UK. On TV etc. I thought that too, that it could go very wrong. If it is real, its actually pretty shocking. Probably give some folks a heart attack or stroke!

If it were real and done to me Id probably shit my pants... Then Id want it emulated in mame :)
