i recently re-installed windows and get this error from the last 3 versions of gameex (9.11 -> 9.13). no problems with any other programs. i got this screen right after installing and after configuring settings. i'm not new to gameex, i've been using for 2 years and donated: never had problems before.

i've got .net 2.0 and the latest directx. anyone have some ideas?

This normally is because of lite or nlited windows install. There's no complete known fix at the moment. It could be data.mdb got corrupted. So you could delete it and reinstall GameEx.

Also did you install GameEx to the default path?

i did make a slipstream windows install with sp2. i figured the other post about a lite version of win meant something like home basic and not this. my guess is that's the problem. i guess i'll have to reinstall windows again. are there any slipstream programs compatible with gameex that you know of?

I agree that the data.mdb might be corrupted. If reinstall does not work, maybe you can try to repair this file. There is a tool called Advanced Access Repair. I have used it to repair many corrupt MDB files on my damaged disks successfully. If necessary, you can have a try.
