hi, i got a question, it doesnt really belong here but i dont know where i can ask it. Im playing a pc game online on 1024x768, could there be a way to force the game to go to a higher resolution(1440x900)? i mean controlled from outside of the game? any thoughts?

Id say no it would most likely make the game work slow if it was possible, is there no options to change the resolution ingame? or even a commandline to change the resolution

If the game and monitor both support higher resolutions than are displayed, it probably means that your video card or your video card's drivers don't support the mode. I think my card maxes out at 1280xsomething, so if I wanted to use 23" monitor (for instance), I would need to get a better video card.
