updating database times

Ok I don't think this can be helped but certainly annoying.. I keep my mame sets up to date to the latest .u, well everytime you update gameex has to scan your new mame set, this takes a really long time, i never timed it but probably 10-15 minutes? Anyway to make gameex scan the new database faster? Not that big of a deal but seems like every 3rd time I sit down to play I have to update my game list..

GameEx is scanning all roms and rebuilding it's database from scratch. This takes a long time since it has to do check sums and such. There is no way to avoid this step if you want to have access to the new content.
