News in start page..how do u disable it?

I have tried everything to disable it. I want to have this in an arcade cabinet running MAME and only having favorites and all mame games listed. Well news is in there and I have tried to disable it with no luck. Is it possible? Any help or comments welcome...

You can disable it by using configuration and going to the 2nd page , news Enable RSS News , and pick no .

I feel a little slow knowing I spent a lot of time trying to disable it and didn't even see that menu option...
