Hello all - first post.

I came across GameEx through Google and I absolutely love it, and will be registering this baby no doubt.

I've seen this this topic before, but not really answered. Is there any way to run multiple disc games on emus such as the C64? I can of course get disc 1 of a multi-disc game to load up, but when it comes to disc 2, I can't go further. I know nothing about mapping a file (If that's what's required?), so if someone can either point me in the right direction or even put up a sample text file --- I would appreciate it immensely. Oh, has anyone created config file for the old Atari 8-bit computers?

Thanks again

If you use VICE and a Keyboard, its very simple:

Just load your Game, and if you are prompted to insert Side 2, just Press "ALT+8" and select the Image of Side 2.

If you control everything with your joystick, you have to map a joystick button to "ALT+8"

You can remap Keyboard Keys (e.g. if you have a hacked Keyboard), and you can map joystick buttons to keys

If you are registered, you can control the mouse with the joystick/directinal buttons too (you need this for disc swapping, if you

dont have a mouse connected).

There have been scripts written to help do this with other systems that use actual CD images using Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%, but I don't recall a good resolution on how to do this automatically. I don't emulate C64 or other systems that have multi-disk/disc games, so it's never been an issue I've looked into. Nologic has written a few of these script (as have others), so it might be something that could be revisited if it's truly unresolved.

I am also looking for a solution to this problem. It would be great if I could just hit a button and the next disk is loaded. Anyone have any ideas?
