Okay I'm not sure what all the AHK scripts and such are for...I just use a Advanced Config...

configFile=[Mapping Off] Exit (Process Close)

Pressing ESC exits the emu fine....not to mention now having the ability to exit the emu via gamepad key-combo

Posted

The problem is that if you hit escape it toggles from fullscreen to windowed when you hit escape and even if you have GameEx exit, it keeps the setting (apparently). If there's another way around that, then that would be the better solution.

Posted

Keeps the setting of being in window mode...isn't that what the command line options are suppose to solve...

Command=Fusion.exe -scd -fullscreen

what am I missing here? :)

Posted

I tried using the configFile=[Mapping Off] Exit (Process Close) and it didn't help. Also, it does say Command=Fusion.exe -scd -fullscreen but that doesn't help either. I can't switch it over to Gens because I simply cannot get it to detect any CD drives at all. It will not recognize my real DVD drive, much less a virtual drive. I've tried configuring both Gens and Gens32 Surreal and neither will detect a drive.

Did you make sure the file existed? Its currently a non-standard file...typically found in nearly all my packages tho.

C:\Program Files\GameEx\CONFIG\EMULATORS\[Mapping Off] Exit (Process Close).ini

Pathing is dependent on where GX is installed.

I really have no idea what is going wrong here...maybe make the fusion.ini read only...which is kind of an ugly way to go about things.

Actually what build of Kega Fusion are you using...it should be v3.51 as found here.

Well here is a copy of my fusion.ini...not sure if it will help...but maybe give it a look over.

I made my Fusion.ini file read only and that appears to have fixed the problem. That is, until some other weird thing pops up out of the blue. Thanks again for your help.

Well, my computer came alive again today and decided to make my Turbo CD games folder read only, therefore meaning that Daemon Tools keeps giving a "file not accessible" error everytime I try to play one of the games. I cannot mount any of them at all. I can't even make the folder not read-only. Everytime I uncheck the box and hit apply and OK, it goes right back to being read-only. This is the kind of crap that makes me hate computers. Things change for no reason. I didn't change a single thing. They were working fine earlier today and now it's all screwed up. I simply cannot get all this stuff working right at the same time because something is always changing without me doing it. Geez, I just want to smash the stupid thing and say to hell with it all.

:blink: Wow... Actually, I've formatted machines for similar treacherous acts. Whose laughing now!!! :lol:

Sometimes if you have a directory open, it doesn't let you do certain things (like delete it). Perhaps there is something accessing the directory not letting you change the settings. My best guess would be to reboot and make sure nothing is running out of that directory or accessing anything in that directory. Then you should be able to do what you want with it.

Well, I found out what the problem was and of course, it was my fault. :P I was renaming my PC Engine CD games to english and while I renamed the iso and cue files, I forgot to go into the cue files and change the iso name. That is why Daemon Tools couldn't access image. So, forgive my silly rant.
