Hi,

The default bezel for vertical games in GameEx has "Mame" on one side, and "GameEx" on the other. Are there bezel's available that have both left and right with the same for both Mame and GameEx? I saw a picture of one that had "Mame" on both sides on the CPwizard website, but can't seem to find the artwork there or in this forum.

Thanks!

Hi. There's a mame bezel over at retroblast but it says it's for mame 0.79 and below so i don't know if it will work for you.

Bezels are just a combination of a png and xml file. The png contains an image of what you want displayed and the xml tells mame where to put it. If you just want to change what the bezel looks like, you can simply use paint or any other graphics editor and copy the image from one side of the bezel that you like (say the "MAME" side for instance) to the other side. The file is located in the bezel directory of GameEx (I think it's actually a bezel v2 directory if I remember correctly). Just go to Program Files\GameEx and look around at the directories. It shouldn't take more than a couple minutes to find the file you need to modify (I did it way back when, but don't use them, so it's been abandoned on my machine.

You can use mine, I think they're more or less the same (except the purple background is removed to suit my cab better). Just extract them to your GameEx program folder and overwrite the old ones. Also be sure to set up a new folder for the Artwork directory under MAME Settings in GameEx. You'll want to point it at an empty folder instead, or the old bezel will pop up for any games you may have run before.

Hope that helps! :)
