Just would like to say a big thank you to Tom and the rest of the people on this forum who have helped me in the last few weeks. I recently started fiddling with mame again after being away from it for a while. I think I jumped from ver 1.08 to 1.21, and now 1.22. In the space of a week I went from tinkering with my lightguns to compiling my own mame. For me, thats monster steps!

The support for GameEx is great and I'm very happy to be a registered user. So, to Tom and everyone on here....a Happy and Healthy New Year and just a big thank you for everything you do daily. The novice folks (like myself) appreciate it!

Tom: I think you forgot to change something this release Remember the "Arial" font needs to be changed to "Lucidia Console" in the bezel attract mode?

Also noticed that sometimes the BIOS files are played during attract mode. Never noticed that before, or maybe that is just the newer versions of Mame?

since the last update it's impossible to load gameex...

before mame and daphne were ok... have to deactivate animated theme for daphne work well

problem : can't load playvideodll.dll

how can i fix this prob ???

I don't have a clue, but in order for someone who does have a clue to help, you will have to provide your GameEx log file. It contains the error messages and provides a clue as to what might be going on.
