moderators!??

i noticed with the growing interest in GameEx i think it mby could get some steam of Tom with a handfull MODS persons there could manage the board alittle to get some steam of Tom and help that way it seems to me with all those updates it could help alot and i noticed more and more topic are left out alittle

my suggestion would mby to let mods go alittle beyond that and mby should be in contact with Tom so that way he can use more time on other things as private life and so on ...

so let there be 2 kinda MODS one for helping others with problems (there can be solved without any coding) and one there mby helps Tom with coding/managing suggestions/bugs and so on ..

its just a advice its hard doing all those things alone ....

You are absolutely right Night. I am looking at this. I dont think you need to physically need to be a moderator to help other users though. You and others are doing a great job so far, and I ignore a lot of posts where I think people like yourself can help out. Please do feel free to answer and help other users. That goes to all GameEx experts!

Just for your info there is one other moderator who has access to modify, and move posts etc other than me and that is djrobx (Rob). He's mostly taken a back seat, but I've given him the power over posts, for him to do what he thinks is needed. Mainly he's big help with bugs and enhancments etc as you say the second type of mod.

Tom has thought of that and given me moderator responsibilities. I do try and help people wherever possible and I will keep an eye on things in the even that Tom is away. Most of the questions I have not responded to are ones that I think are better handled by Tom, but point taken - I will make more of an effort to to check for and respond to some of the questions that have slipped under the radar.

You don't need to be a moderator to help others out with GameEx questions. So far this forum has a been a great community with intelligent, helpful members. It has not needed much in terms of actual moderation.
