multiple gamepads

hi guys

is there software out there that will let me add an extra gamepad to my arcade machine ,,

basicly my controlls are driven by 4 gamepads rewired to buttons and sticks

is there a way i can ad a usb gamepad and it acts as the same controller as player 1's gamepad,

for instance if you plug in 2 usb keyboards they will act as the same

so i can have optional gamepads instead of sticks,

but without reconfiguring any emulator,,

tricky question i know but ive been wondering for a while

If you used XPadder, you could have it set up so that each gamepad that's detected has its own setup. Then, just make the ones you want to act as identical use the same config. The only downside is that you will be using keyboard commands rather than gamepad controls in the emulator...but that's not really a problem since that's typically easier to configure.

ive heard of xpadder but never used it
