ROMs in sub directories

Thats why you should run them all through a no intro dat first. It will take the best version for you.

This is the problem I'm having it doesn't "Take the best version" is simply renames them (Rev A) etc.

I'm still not clear which is the best - and even if I was, then I'd still need to manually delete them

Which rom set are you working with? I don't recall the no-intro set having revision A, B etc. I could be wrong though.

Thta's the problem - I don't have the no-intro set.

I have the complete "good" set it's about 11,000 ROMs - but most of them are hacks/unlicensed/pirate, basically lots & lots of stuff you don't need.

If I could find and download - a no-intro set then I wouldn't be in this mess!

(and no I'm not asking for ROMs )

Hey Ben,

I thought it was a pain in the butt to have all the extras in goodsets. I just rescanned my goodsets and created no-intro sets. Maybe that will help. I have both for the sake of collecting but no-intro sets are so much cleaner without the junk and makes things easier for listing in GameEx.

Like frequency said. You can take your 11000 file goodset and turn them into a no-intro set.

Load a no-intro dat into the romcenter and scan the whole list of roms. The extra garbage roms will be "unknown" Just select all those from within romcenter and move them to a different folder.

These DATs are totally different from the ones I downloaded from the no-intro site, did you make these?
