it would be nice if there was a way of changinging disc,

for instance a button you press on your cab wich launchest a batch file and that will load another cd to dameon tools, like the next cd in the folder of the game that is playing,,or has this kinda thing been done already,,

when i get games i always check to see if it is a single cd ,

kinda limits my options on games, especially since all the good games have multiple cd's

There's a way to do ANYTHING you want, it just takes some time and effort. I think there are scripts available to do this (probably written by HK, nologic, or Brian, but others have written some too). If nothing suits your fancy, it would be possible to have a script setup to change the disc (using daemon tools or alchohol120) set up as a button (or button combo) on your CP.

Basically, you write a script that does what you want in whatever language you choose (AHK or AI preferably) and have the script watch for a key combo while that game is running. If this game already requires a wrapper, you already have the framework to put this script in!

I always try to do the full install of games and then find a No-CD patch for them. *************.com usually has No-CD's for most popular games.

I guess I was thinking he wanted to play a rom that had multiple cd's (like some PSX games, etc) rather than a pc game. Yeah, if it's a pc game, then you could do a full install and patch like HK said.

I don't know if it's ok to mention, but ************* is a good resource for patches. If that site is not allowed, please delete it. They don't host roms, just provide files used for patching, but there *might* be links to sites with roms (I've never checked).

yea its for roms not pc games,,i allways do full install and no cd patch it,,but thanx anyway,,

i already have 2 sites i use for no-cd cracks,,lol

im pretty familier with dos and batch files is there dos commands i could use to do that,,basicly wait for a

keybouard press whilst in a cirtain emulator example "k" that when pressed launches a bach file that is in the folder of the game that is running,,

unmounts then mounts a rom,

,,,,,,

i suppose for example gameex launches a ps1 rom it could allso launch the batch file thats in the same folder and that batch file could wait for a keypress from the letter k and when pressed swaps the roms over,,

maybe thats possible and easy to make,

i could probably make this myself now lol

but how do u get a command prompt to wait for a specific key press

Sorry guys, but Brian expressed his concerns about posting links to No-CD sites, and even if you are using them with bought copies of games, there is potential for abuse so to be on the safe side were going to assume a No-CD site is against the rules for being in the "crack" category. Sorry if I confused anyone there with my link.

That's cool. I figured as much, but thought it was a bit in the gray area since they don't provide anything illegal on their site and, according to the site's documentation, they exist to make using your own software easier. In any case, if that's what someone was looking for, searching google would make quick work anyway.

Sorry

Not need to apologise. I made the same mistake lol

It is a bit of a grey area I know, but best to be on the safe side ;)
