FCE resizes after a few seconds when launched

I finally got the path names working (via reading the forums) but couldn't find any information on my latest problem. When I run a game in GameEx, the emulator opens, the game starts fullscreen for a second, then it resizes to a small box. (eventhough I have load full screen checked on FCE ). I also have show desktop on GameEx. Any ideas how I can keep this in full screen?

Its because your using one of the canned configs... Goto the emulator config (in gameex) look for send keys and remove the %{enter} or whatever it is... Its because gameex is sending ALT+ENTER after launch and is conflicting with your Emulator cfg...

Eg you told the emu to launch full screen.. Then gameex is throwing Alt enter making it small again.....

Further information, when I disable the "show desktop" option, the Emulator runs for a few seconds, then the screen just goes black (it doesn't resize now).

That fixed it. Thanks a bunch Brian. (I'm happy, but a little embarrased how easy that was to fix... More happy though)
