Hey guys i was wondering if there is an easy way to get rid of the games i dont want. I need to free some space on my harddrive, and i hate to try to identify what i want , and what i dont. Its really maybe request, I was thinking that there could be an option to delete files that are placed in the deleted section in the config. like a double delete - get rid of the stuff that you will never use for good. I hope you all understand what im saying, and if there is a simple answer - please give it to me.

Thanks,

Rayman

Rayman,

Welcome back.... well in the excluded games list it seperates the unwanted games by ;

Example smb;smb2;smb3

You can copy this string into a text file... and seperate them like

smb

smb2

smb3

Then you can put DEL... Via copy and paste so it looks like this

DEL smb

DEL smb2

DEL smb3

Now you can save this text file as a batch file and run it from your rom directory...

Mission accomplished... sure its a LITTLE work but it will do what you need it to do.

There us no really simple solution

Thanks, ill check that out - just hoping there would be an easier way. With the delete function within gameex i thought it may be able to delete permanent. May add that to the future requests. Thanks Brian for the quick response. Do you think what i was talking about would be that hard to implement? Just wandering..

Thanks again - Rayman

No it probably wouldnt... But for myself I like a complete romset.. But yet somtimes I choose to exclude certain roms from my list...

This way I keep my roms but my list isnt cluttered with roms I will not play.. at least yet

i have been looking through my roms and watching some of the video snaps i made and i also have a lot of roms that are basicly rubbish either dont work or dupes etc..

i was thinking would it be possible to have a feature called mark Rom or something simaler so you can go down the list and mark bad/unwanted roms and have an option to either filter them out or delete bulk roms
