Applying ePSXe patches

I have psx iso in the format img.ecm

.img files work, butones with the .ecm need to be patched. I found this patch site:

http://www.megagames.com/psx/psx_patches.shtml#Patch

but I am unable to get the patches to apply and work.

I've heard ePSXe also works if you put the patches in the "patches" folder. But so far not working.

Looking for some step by step instructions...thansk!

The site seems pretty self explanitory... Personaly I extract the ISO run the PPF patcher and rebuild the ISO..

i would use teh PPF Patch and use PPF-O-Matic tool. that should be avalible from mega games if you search

this will patch for files for you

I guess what I was hoping for was someone to spend a little time and walk me through the steps.

I have a file: Tomba2.img.ecm and I need to apply a patch to it. I've tried following the instructions on that site, with no success.

If someone wants to walk me through it, please reply.

Sorry you havent gotten the responces you are looking for... The fact is that probbaly most here do not patch or add trainers to thier cd images.... So it's not that nobody wants to help you ... Its that Most simply do not know...

I have some PSX games... I will take a looksey and see what I can come up with... One thing I notice is that your ISO has two file extentions Tomba2.img.ecm (what this meas is you really have a .IMG file that you probably tried to rename to .ECM

Which could explain why you are having issues... More than likly if ECM is the format it needs to be in to run the patch you will probably have to mount the ISO and rip it to the correct format.

If I am successfull later I will let you know what I did... Step by Step.
