- GameEx 4.70

  • Modified all themes to work
with VMWare, Virtual PC, and older graphics cards.
If GamEx ended when creating surfaces and you weren't
using the default theme this release should fix
    that.
  • Better SlikStik, X-Arcade and
    Gamepad support.

    • Ability to exit all
emulators and applications with these devices
(always on for MAME and Zinc. Use the MapKeys
      setting for emulators and apps).
    • Ability to not exit
      attract mode with a Gamepad.
    • See the docs page for
      controls

    [*]Kills VPAuto.exe process when
running Visual Pinball. The MapKeys setting works
fine for me with the latest version of Visual
    Pinball.

One thing you might consider is having LaunchAfter run even if you kill an application. Then you could just put taskkill /im vpauto.exe (or maybe a BAT file that does whatever other "cleanup" is necessary like dismounting a CD image or killing off additional helper applications) in GameEx.ini.

In Windows - go into Control Panel, Select Game Controllers, Select your controller, select properties. See which buttons are what.

Rob, it should still actually run launchafter. Is it not working?
Hmm, you're right, looks like it's working now. It definitely didn't when I tried to use it that way some weeks back. Nice, that opens a lot of possibilities. :)

Yes, it was not working right unless GameEx was showing in a window. Its fixed in 4.72 which I just uploaded. Go try it!
