mass file name editing

i was just wondering if there is a tool for mass file name editing for example taking a set word out of a file name it might not always be at the start or end of the file name.

Heres another really good one. It integrates into the context menu so re-naming is a right click away. I highly recommend at least taking a look at it. Better File Rename

It's not free though

In trial mode, it is limited to renaming at most 10 files.

Bulk Rename Utility is another free one.
