Chankast problems

ok i am tryin to get chanksat to work with the loader made for alcohol, i can get it to mount the image, and without using the loader i can get a game to load, but games will only load if i use the cd-rom xxx plugin and darkmans input, no idea why but works only with that input selected, the problem is everytime i try to run a game with the loader i can see chankast open real fast, it opens the drive window selection automatically then closes everything really fast, then when i open up chankast all the setting are back to default???so it seems this wrapper changes my settings can anyone help me????

this launcher is somewhere onthe forums here i cant remember where but its for alcohol, not daemon and its v2.5d

once i fix this i can then play all my sweet dc games easily through gamex

I don't use a DC emulator (still run the real thing!), but most of the people here have switched from Chankast to NullDC. You might consider giving it a go since it appears to have better support in this forum. Just a thought.

I agree.. Use Nulldc... It a better emulator... and there is a few wrappers for it here...

cool thanks, so it is just as good/compatible as chankast???same speed and everything? also could you post any links you have to the wrappers for nulldc....also it cant be imported through the advanced config so is the command line the same as others?
