I know from the other day that it seem that some people can and some people cant restart explorer.exe after using instant sheller.

I for one cant get explorer GUI to load after gameex Exits or via RUN command i just get a explorer window.

Basicly i was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what may be stoping it from loading the GUI. i have a standard install of xp with justabout all updates on

it might sound crazy but i have heard of internet explorer 7 doing some weird things was thinking it might be this? any ideas welcome

I'm not sure it is because I have seen it do the command prompt before without IE7. I think that was an older version of windows though.

Last time I tried instant sheller was before IE7 came out and I could not get the gui to come up back then. I haven't tried it since IE7 came out but assume I would get the same result now.

I don't have IE7 installed...

You know, with Firefox I wasn't sure about the multi-tag-per-page thing, but since explorer 7 I've quite warmed to the idea. I can hardly imagine going back.
