Gameex won't start

After a fresh install of WinXP MCE I installed gameex again and cofigured the easy config as before but when launching gameex it stops and give me this log.

I have uninstalled and installed again but it won't start.

Also when launching the gamex configuaration (not the easy one) its all blanc.

All (windows) updates and driver updates are installed so who will give me the answer.

Which version of the .net framework are you running?

Which version of MCE are you using?

Have you checked you sound card?

I'm using MCE 2005.

My soundcard is onboard, a realtek card with the latest drivers from the realtek site (A 3.74)

Like I said after a fresh instaal it won't work. It worked before with the same hardware and software. Uninstalling and installing again won't solve it. The only thing that is changed since the last time is a bios update for my A8V deluxe board (1014.008 final)

Is it doing any checking of the Windows Media Library around that time? Maybe you could try disabling your sound card in device manager, just to see if that allows you through? (Might help narrow down the problem)

Soundcard disabled but still the same log.

I don't get it. It used to work fine with all the same hard and software.

I think basically you have a bad Windows XP or .net framework install for some reason. Coul you try the version just uploaded, I am thinking it will be failing on the item after initializing bass. If so it has to be something up with your install. I dont think its to do with your hardware. I think someohow you got a bad install of Win XP or .net framework.

Let me know.

I reinstalled net. framework and it didn't work anymore so its the framework trouble.

GameEx wont run without the Framework installed. As I said I think you have a bad Windows/Framework install.

It works now!

I did some repairs for gameex.exe and configuration.exe in the net framework configuration 1.1 and all problems are gone.

strange problem but ok it works so I'm happy now. :D
