Well, my new cab is nearly setup. Purchased it from Arcade Warehouse (UK)

The monitor has faults, but I was able to nearly correct it with the adjustment controls. They told me the cab was made in the late nineties but there full of shit, as it looks like its from 91. They did get me a 6 button cab, but one button had no connectors, and the extra buttons were mapped to the first three. The controls were also 'really' shit, so I bought an X-Arcade which luckily fits nicely.

They also shipped it without a key for the back, although they did post it when I told them.

When I rang them about the fault with the monitor, they told me they had tested it, which I find hard to believe. They put me through to there tech guy who helped me find the Horizontal Linearity adjustment. I got a 98% picture with this but theres deffinitly a fault with the monitor. Andy from Ultimarc confirmed it was a monitor issue.

Overall I guess thats what you expect from a second hand JAMMA cabinet, but service from Arcade Warehouse was just average. I would'nt say dont use them if your in the UK as they can source JAMMA Cabs, but just dont have high expectations, and be prepared to do extra work on it.

Ill post pics shortly.

I have a question though for Arcade-X users though , is there any shifted control for Escape? What do poeple do?

Cheers.

Hi Tom, I hate to say it but I replaced X-Arcade's controller board with an IPac. I don't think they actually have a shift button. There are 3 different programmable button sets though controlled by the switch on the back.

Thanks.

I actually just went ahead and built the functionality into GameEx with the MAPKeys settings. It exits with Right Flipper and Player 2 now!

Hope your doing OK.
