Faffing around with a stripped down XP (TinyXP) on a old box that has just been given to me....

Just wondering if it is sthg that was stripped or if I have cocked up somewhere....

Just trying a stripped XP for speed etc it's an old box P3 1133....But faster than the 450 test box I was using....

It's playing merry hell with my Jukebox software as well.....

Looks like a full XP install then.....

Ohh and ignore the sent error I hit the wrong button.........

No worries. You can still do a slimline install. Just do it yourself. Use nlite, its brilliant (i dontated so its has to be good . You can nlite your xp install yourself. Anything that has the potential to screw up your system is marked in red, so just remove the safe stuff, and anything else you know you dont need (for example parallel port drivers, potential dangerious only if you want a printer).

The problem with the pre-done packages are that they try and remove to much, and not tailored to the use you need.

The thing to note, is that you need to get the OS install for what your using it for.
