PSD For M Series Logo

Hi Adultery. You may remember a while back i asked if you could make up a couple of M logos as there were a few additions to the mame catagories. I didn't realize how much you had on your plate til i read your recent 'Stepping Down' post. I was wondering if you could send me the stuff i need to make my own M logos (well actually my brother is gonna do it - he's finished his web design course in college and hasn't found work yet). That is the psd file for the M logo and also the font used for the logo description. I'd really appreciate this.

Perhaps if Adultery felt comfortable with it, he could allow Tom to put it on the main web page for others to use. There are surely other emulators that people out there might be interested in having logos for and Adultery shouldn't have to do all the work!

Adultery - Btw, in case I haven't said it before, those logos are sweet! I would use the more risqué ones, but the wife said no

Yeah I use these logo's too, and I have a few that are missing these days, it would be nice to have the psd so we can continue making them

Hi Iano,

I've had another search for the file i used to make the icons, and finally found it!

Custom_Mame_Icons___CS3_PSD.zip

Instructions:

1. Open the photoshop file

2. Select the image you want to use, then add it as a layer below the outline layer.

3. Activate the M outline layer

4. Use the magic wand to select the empty space around the outline of the M. (tolerance of 30)

5. Select the layer you added which needs to be clipped.

6. Then delete the selected area.

7. Save as a png and your done.

I had replacements I was going to post, but I think it's easy and more satisfying to make your own. With the PSD files, everyone could add a nice touch of personal sweetness.

@ Iano: Sorry I didn't get to it sooner. I forgot all about it actually... Glad you got everything you needed.

If any of you would like the new icons as opposed to making your own, I have made icons for the new categories and I would be happy to post them for everyone. Just say the word.

And by the way... Amos really deserves the credit for these - I just hollowed out the middle of the M and added a snapshot in a layer behind it. Pretty simple stuff really.

It would be nice if you posted your new logo's. I ended up using one Amos posted once, but the font didn't match all the previous ones you posted, so I would like to update the logo's I use. Cheers.

It maybe best stick with one or the other (or make your own).
