Cab buttons 3 + 2 give switch back screen / game

Hi,

I'm using GameEx for awhile now, but since the first version I had to the latest I always had the same problem.

When I press cab button 3 then 2 (together) the screen goes black. Same in GameEx and MAME. If I press them again it switch back to the game (or GameEx screen)

Any idea how to prevent this?

What are buttons 2 and 3? If button 2 is ALT and 3 is TAB it would explaint why you are having issues..

I would assume you are NOT using a gameepad... So if you can tell us what function 2 and 3 are it would be eaiser to help you out.

If you are unsure tell us about your cpanel and use a program called charprobe.

It will tell you what exactly is going on.

These buttons are mapped to default MAME keys for buttons 2 and 3 for player 1.

Default keys are like SHIFT and CTRL..

Id reamp thes keys to non windows functions.. Like g and K.. Or whatever is not being used.

Shift held down or pressed repeatedly will cause Stickykeys to activate... Which could be stealing the focus..

Of course CTRL and about anyother button is a hotkey as well.

Thats my suggestion.

On the up side, no response usually means the problem was solved...

I have reconfigured SNES pad drivers and JoyToKey and now the problem is gone.
