Any to disable the rotate key (tab)?

I searched but couldnt find anything. I have rotate display disabled in the config, but I can still hit tab and the screen rotates (even though i am running the unregistered version). I can hit tab 3 more times and its back to normal.

I am trying to make the cab idiot proof. I have a "Game Options" button on the CP which is of course mapped to tab, which I want to keep during mame.

You can create an autohotkey script that disables TAB when GAMEEX is the ACTIVE window.

Id also like to point out that TAB does NOT rotate my display in gameex... I have rotate off in display settings.. I am running a registered copy.

you could also just remap the hotkey to a different key your control panel doesn't use...

I don't think that's possible through GameEx. I think he must mean via xpadder or AHK.
