Explorer crashes

Sometimes when i use the snapshot feature for roms, it works fine, then all off a sudden explorer crashes, after a few more crashes, game ex freezes. I don't know if its the emulator, or the snapshot feature oops sorry double post

A few questions..

1. Does it crash immediatly?

2. If not does it work for a while... Maybe system is low on resources?!?

3. Does it crash on the same roms... (Maybe corrupted rom)

4. Does explorer crash outside gameex? All gameex really does it call the EMU and rom,does a printscreen,creates a png based on the romname,exits the emu and loads it again right away with a new rom.

this seems a like a weird issue that only a format and reinstall of windows will fix.. Of course by all means check and update your drivers.

Taking snaps is never going to be an exact science. GameEx has to launch an emulator take a snap (using bitblt probably) and close it, and repeat for all games. Emulators are often not the most friendly programs to deal with so it's actually amazing GameEx does what it does without more problems. Since GameEx will only create snaps for games that don't have them, just keep trying until you have a full set (or download avi snaps off emumovies). Once you've made them it's done and you don't have to worry about it anymore anyway.

I just found out game ex is not the only thing that crashes explorer, other games do it to. Sometimes when i exit a game like fear, or mmo sometimes, explorer crashed. I started to notice this after I installed the new beta driver for my geforce 8600gts,

I think that could be the problem, although it is a bit strange. When it does crash it does it instantly, its not the ram, because I have 1.5gb of ram.
