I would love to see some videos of these beasts in action!

My buddy Tommy, one of the guys I've built my Mame cab with, did a video of our

machine.

We'd love to make a video of our Mame cab in action, but we don't know how to film it without it looking crap. The screen flickers because the camcorder is recording in another sync.

Use camtasia studios.. Or another SOFTWARE screen recorder.

Well, I guess you're right. We could fake it by softwarecapturing the menus in GameEx and the gameplay, and cut back and forth between that footage and recording of the controlpanel in use. I'll have to run the idea by Tommy, he's the one with the editing skills. :)

Check out the videos I made for my LEDWiz setup (bottom of the page). They were made using a crap photo camera's video recording!

Surely real video cameras can do better than that.

Yeah, you still have a little flickering going on, not too bad though. I've seen worse. When we have some spare time on our hands, we'll look into making a video, one way or another.

Nice guide btw., we've considered adding LED's to our controlpanel as well, and your setup looks pretty sweet.

Hey all!

I moved your posts without specific setups to this thread instead to keep things nice and tidy since the topic was stickied. Thanks to everyone for understanding! :)

Good idea. While replying on that topic, I thought it was a shame to "litter" the post with off topic entries, so I think it's a perfect solution.
