mini question regarding update of gameex

Hi im running gamex 6.80 and will upgrade to the newest version now.

well there is some things i was wondering. wehn i install the new gameex will it just overinstall the old one?

and some hard to get right pc games and Chancast batchfiles and stuffs will all that get erased?

is it possible to update witout any re installing emus and command lines in gameex?

Updates will not break anything...

Gameex automatically does a backup of the config just in case.

Only thing is you may lose any MAME favorites since that version is so old. Otherwise should be good.

I think v6.xx didn't have .NET 2.0, so you will probably have to install that if you don't already have it.

yea it all worked nice de la nice. i had to install net 2.0 (without any hassle) The upgrade went flawless. exept me loosing

some (not all) of customised icons in the mce glossy pack.

(smart as i was i backed my own icons up) (icons fore "multimedia" "mame" "favourites" and so on. . no biggie thouhg. they were backed up and all is good.

but everything else for what i have noticed is precisly like the old gamex

ps: a quickie . where is the gameex intro video path located in the configurations? thought about smashing up some cool

intro video. ?
