Is there an option to have Mame save high scores and use Artwork??

Ok Guys...I need your help..been trying to work this out all day with little luck. I was using MAME Plus Version 118 so that I can keep high scores. But when I try it through GameEX nothing is working. If I use the Mame command line it works, but no high score saves.

Also I would like to see my Artwork bezels and I haven't been able to get this to work all stinkin day.

I'm asking for a little help here!!

I deleted all the config files as well as the ini files attached to mame and mame32 and mame plus but still no workie...It's been a loooong time since I updated all my files..maybe that was my first mistake. Anyway if you guys could help, it'd be much appreciated!

Right now all it does is get to the initializing point when loading a game and then goes back to GameEx.

*OK I've uninstalled GameEx and reinstalled as well as removed mame and installed v. .106 and I still cannot get it to play in GameEx.....sigh..I'm going to bed now......

Please goto the gameex programs group in the start menu ..right click on the run last game.bat and post the contents here

Well What I ended up doing was just waxing out GameEx all together and reinstalling. I had to specify the specific artwork directory under the Advanced Mame Settings line options to get the artwork to work.

For the high score, I'm using Mame32FX v.118 and using the high score file and it's working now.

Right now the only still annoying thing is when I load up a game it's bypassing the disclaimer but it's popping up the rom data info (CPU, Sound Processors..etc.) is there a setting I'm missing somewhere. It won't do this when using the Mame32FX GUI; it will go straight to the game. I do have it checked in GameEx settings to skip warnings/disclaimers.
