I have a game here that I'd love to set up to run with GameEx, but it does have a minor problem. The sound is a bit weird and the game needs DirectX Sound Acceleration to be set to Low for it to work correctly (I know, pretty lame). Does anyone know of a way to change this from the command line, or with some kind of program that can be run before the game launches?

What kind of games is it? meaning is it a DOS game? if so you can use dox box...

if it is a windows game maybe try setting the compatabillity tab.

As far as i know there is no command to do what you ask.. I can ony offer workarounds If I know more about the game.

Yeah, I haven't found a utility to do it at all either. It's just a Windows game (came out in '03), but it has no support at all and a known bug in the game is that directx sound acceleration needs to be set to low. It'll probably just have to go to the wayside
