I haven't but it sounds interesting...I'll look into it in a while...if any thing remind me...right now I'm in bit of a artwork frenzy...which if things turn out nice maybe GameEx well be packaged with the new art.

Give me a week...if I haven't nothing by then give me a yell. :)

Hi Slipstream19

I gave it a go yesterday, i created a shotcut of the Joost exe and treated it as a PC Game shortcut, when selected it starts fine for about 4 seconds then goes back to the Gameex game selection screen but Joost can be heard in the background, i dont know whats wrong but i am sure one of the talented people on this Forum can give it a try and get it working....BTW thanks for the heads up on Joost i think its Great :D

I think GameEx will do that for you...if not I'd be looking at using Xpadder rather than JoyToKey.

-

joy to key seems to flipp out if your entering and exiting like 10 games. in a row . you know.

but is xpadder better in this way or whats the pros and cons of xpadder versus joytokeY??

Xpadder means more features on top of features. :)

Only con I can think of is that it uses a bit more resources...but unless your running a really weenie system it shouldn't be a problem.

That and I'm really looking to convert everyone since Xpadder is currently always under development, and the dev is very helpful and open to idea's.

The last update to Xpadder allowed unlimited macro size...if you want it to type out a whole dictionary not a problem. :)

Anyways let me first get this figured out how to launch and close it properly then we'll look into controls. :)

Extract to "C:\Program Files\Joost\xulrunner\" set the command line in GameEx to use the loader...this is early work...and not fully correct as of yet.

Oh and don't show desktop...there is a mild bug in Joost which maybe you wish to report while I work on other things...and thats that it fails to take focus, and fails to assert its self in the upper most z-order when launched.

Those looking to toy with this should head over to http://www.joost.com/presents/gigaom-newteevee/ for an invite to test the beta.

slipstream19 -

Its working fine on my setup...tho more tweaking is likely in order.

Stunts38 -

Generally but in this case my loader forces the window to top level in z-depth...even tho this should work smoothly since its using D3D as the rendering engine....but its encapsulated in a Mozilla class form.
