Gameboy Emus (Visualboy Advanced-Black screen, no sound)

I am trying to run Visualboy and when I open VBA in a folder by double clicking the exe file it loads up Fullscreen and the games can be loaded fine. When I try clicking on Zelda:Minish cap for GBA in my game list in GameEX, the screen turns black and theres no sound. I hit esc and after a few moments it returns me to GameEx. Anyone have any advice?

Well I know it works because I use it. I will post my config shortly.

My guess is the show desktop option.

Goto

C:\Program Files\GameEx\ Run gameexconfig.

goto the gb emulator.

Select Import config. Point to the INI Ive attached.... Make sure you edit the paths to where yours are

Copy the INI here "C:\Program Files\GameEx\CONFIG\EMULATORS\IMPORT-EXPORT"

Example working path / rompath etc....

Or you can just look at the settings and see what you have diffrent...
