I was just running my cab in Attract mode and noticed that the screen was blank but my LEDWiz was still running in attract mode. I couldn't CTRL-ALT-DEL to end the GameEx task so I rebooted. There was an "ActiveMovie" task that would not shutdown because it wasn't responding. I have never had this problem before so I thought it might be related to some of the new stuff that was being done with video. I believe this was some error occuring when playing one of my videos. Just thought I would report this.

Noone else get this problem? Turning off videos in attract mode seemed to have solved my problem, but obviously something in the video code has changed to cause this.

I'm going to have to investigate this further. I moved to the K-Lite Codec pack some time ago so perhaps it is now causing an issue in newer versions of GameEx. I have a feeling it's a DivX or Xvid codec issue.

I got a similar active movie error on exiting GameEX when i used a different build of ffdshow. Now i've went back to the recommended build of ffdshow - everything seemed to be fine until i try to use those nice avi backgrounds - i get a .net broadcast error with an exception happening (index was outside the bounds of the array). It only happened when i enabled the 'Advanced Graphics' option in the setup wizard. Tom said he thinks my problem is a codec issue but i'm using the recommended build of ffdshow and have no other codecs installed.

:)
