Hi,

Just registered my copy yesterday, fantastic program.

I would like to be able to use the GameEx interface to playback .avi videos then delete them when done (eg TV episodes, I don't need to keep them once i've watched them!).

Q1) How do I delete a video file using GameEx? I don't have the option?

I tried using the built in media player, but the aspect ratio options either have black borders or are zoomed too much, losing a lot of the picture. I have media player classic set up which plays back perfectly, zoomed to fill the screen and scaled to fit - looks great.

Q2) How do I use Media Player Classic rather than the built in media player?

Cheers.

You can try setting it up as an emu.. mplayer.exe "[rompath]/[romfile]"

Romfilter will be *.avi or whatever

As far as the delete goes that will require a little more logic.

Maybe setup another emu Call it video maintence

Point to the same folders and have the command line be del "[rompath]/[romfile]"

This method isnt automatic but might be better as u might decide you dont want to delete an episode after you watched it.

Just a thought

Thanks for the suggestions, i'm not looking for an automatic watch then delete, just the ability to delete from the same menu I watch from :)

Isnt there an option to delete roms right from the rom list?

When you press the DEL key on the keyboard it deletes the rom from the list but does not actually remove the rom. I believe it goes in the filter list

OK, so it looks as though GameEx will not allow me to delete videos once i've watched them. Nor will it adjust the aspect ratio to fill my screen properly or allow me to use media player classic without setting up as an emulator.

Anyone here use XP Media Center Edition? I've never used it (since it can't join domains) but i'd happily convert to achieve the above?

Cheers
