I'm sorry if someone has covered this but I have done a lot of digging and can't find the answer I need.

Right here goes, I select an emulator and I am presented with the relevant list of games available for it, I select one and the emu loads up fullscreen etc etc just without the rom file., Ihave to bring my mouse out (I'm running a cab) and navigate to the roms in the usual windows fashion, which obviously negates the whole purpose of me cab!!! (how terribly embarrasing)

I'm sure its a simple config issue and yes I have tried the command = exampleemu.exe "[Rompath]\[RomFile]"

any help would be great thanks!

What emu are you using first of all...

No one can help with the little info you supplied. Chances are good someone here has it going correctly.

Try taking off the quotes

BTW: Welcome to the board :)

you could also try adding a PAUSE to the end of "runitgame.bat" in the "GameEx\DATA\" folder then run the batch file and see if it's giving you any error or it might even be obvious what the problem is when you see the command being sent... runitgame.bat will run the last game GameEX tried to run

See, if these were set up like Mame, with the option to cmd it in whatever way also (which I think it does, already), these things I think wouldn't be issues for people.

There's Advanced Config files to load to get around these problems. Most (if not all) systems you use are represented.

Go to Advanced Config -> Emulator ## -> Load Config
